News reporters go to great lengths to bring you the latest news as soon as possible. With the right application, you can receive news updates the minute they are posted. Noopod allows you to manage countless RSS feeds or PodCasts and you can use it as a web radio player as well. It can monitor and update all you feeds simultaneously, and it lets you know about the updates with on-screen notifications.

The application is absolutely free and it can be installed in a matter of seconds. It can be used on Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7. It does not ask for powerful hardware or additional drivers.

You don't need any special skills or knowledge to add and organize RSS feeds. You may create one or more folders in a tree structure, on the left side of the interface, to categorize your feeds. To add a new RSS feed or PodCast, you just need to paste its URL and select a folder, on a separate window.

Selecting a feed will display its articles in the larger area on the right, where you can also view a short description for the selected articles. You can also go to an article's source page, on your default web browser or on the application's interface, on a separate tab. Besides a web browser, the application comes with a built-in media player, as well as a download manager.

You can listen to PodCasts with Noopod's integrated media player and use its download manager to store them in a local folder. Another useful feature is the possibility of synchronizing RSS feeds and PodCasts with external memory devices.
